The Association of ACAS Alumni (ASACA)

Introduction

Alumni play an important role in the functioning and success of any academic institution by supporting developmental initiatives and serving as role models for potential students in future batches. The Alumni Cell was founded by the institution to capture the alumni’s unbreakable force and strengthen the bond between the alumni and the alma mater. However, the formal association of Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Keezhattur, the Association of ACAS Alumni (ASACA), was registered on October 15, 2023, under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The Alumni Cell was developed to encourage participation and contribution in the overall development of the institution as well as to contribute to society.

Objectives

The various objectives of this alumni cell are hereinafter mentioned:

• To provide an opportunity for alumni, teachers, staff, and students of the institution to connect and to foster contact between past and present students through guest lectures and get-togethers.
• To contribute to the well-being of the alumni,
• To keep alumni informed of the institution’s numerous initiatives.
• To get help finding job and internship possibilities for students and Alumni Cell members.
• To aid the institution in a variety of academic, co-curricular, and social activities.
• To organise conferences, seminars, and workshops with the help of alumni to help students improve their knowledge and get practical experience for their future careers.
• To create a forum for alumni to reconnect with and support their alma institution.
