Report on Bougette, A talk on Union budget 2022-23, organised by Department of Economics held on 22 February 2022.

Department of Economics at Al Shifa College of Arts and Science, Kizhattoor, Perinthalmanna, organized a talk on Union Budget 2022-23 titled ‘Bougette’ by Ms. Ruksana. P, Research Scholar, JMC Thrissur on 22 February 2022, Tuesday between 10.30 am and 11.30 am at Seminar Hall. Mr. Muhammed Noufal M, Head, Department of Economics introduced the speaker among the students and shared the basics of budget preparation and presentation.

Ms. Ruksana presented the way of making a Union budget and its components then compared and distinguished the personal and government budget. She outlined and familiarised various terms used in budget report such as actual estimate, current estimate budget estimate etc. Then the second part of the presentation, she explained the core theme of the budget 22-23 and its highlights.

Ms.Jafanath C, II Sem BA Economics, proposed vote of thanks and the session came to an end at 11.30 am.
